CLOS DE TART GRAND CRU MONOPOLE
The 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis Village, which is completely de-stemmed, comes from three and six year old vines from around the clos. It has a clean and precise bouquet with tightly wound blackberry and raspberry, light wild hedgerow notes surfacing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a very saline entry. Smooth in the mouth though not complex since we are talking about comparatively very young vines here, though I appreciate the pepperiness coming through on the finish.
